Before & After: How Fitted Wardrobes Transformed This Bedroom
On moving into her small three-bedroom house in Chester, graphic designer Carla painted everything white to create a blank canvas, before spending the next couple of years saving up and meticulously planning her dream home renovation. After 18 months living with clothes scattered across rails and packed away in boxes while she turned her bland ‘magnolia box’ into a home filled with personality and colour, it was finally time to tackle the bedroom. And one of the most exciting upgrades was the installation of our stunning fitted wardrobes, completely transforming the space into an organised and stylish sanctuary.

Carla’s Dream Bedroom Makeover
Carla chose our Elise design in classic white with cashmere interiors after exploring a variety of samples during a home design visit with our expert team. The timeless and elegant choice perfectly complemented her vision for a clean, modern aesthetic while offering practical storage solutions.
Our designers thrive on challenges like asymmetrical alcoves. In Carla’s bedroom, the alcoves on either side of the chimney breast were slightly different in size. To make the most of the space, we designed tailor-made fitted wardrobes that seamlessly integrated into the room, maximising every inch of space. The floor-to-ceiling design fully optimised storage, making the most of the available vertical space.
The transformation brought a sense of calm and order to the space, with everything now neatly stored in stunning, custom-fitted wardrobes. What was once an awkward, underutilised area is now a sleek, practical, and beautifully balanced feature of Carla’s home.
Thoughtful Interior Features
After talking through Carla’s vision and requirements, our designers created a bespoke interior configuration perfectly tailored to her specific storage needs, with dedicated hanging space for different types of clothing and additional shelving for extra organisation. A useful external hanging rail was also added, perfect for planning outfits for the next day—making Carla’s morning routine much smoother.
A Stress-Free Installation Process
Having tackled most of the renovations throughout the rest of the house themselves, Carla and partner Fraser were impressed by the exceptional work of our fitters, which allowed them to take a well-deserved break. The result was a high-quality, professional finish that made an instant impact. The process was seamless and stress-free, allowing the couple to enjoy their new space without hassle.
Carla’s bedroom transformation proves just how much of a difference fitted wardrobes can make in a bedroom—not only in terms of aesthetics but also in functionality and organisation. With a clutter-free, beautifully designed space, she now enjoys a bedroom that feels both stylish and practical.
