Kayleigh’s Dream Dressing Room Makeover with My Fitted Bedroom
When it comes to creating a beautiful, practical, and luxuriously styled dressing room, Kayleigh from @no40_home_renovation had a clear vision – and our experts at My Fitted Bedroom recently helped her bring it to life.
Kayleigh has been thoughtfully renovating her home over the last eight years, transforming it into the perfect modern family home with a signature colour palette of soft, calming neutrals and an interior aesthetic that blends elegance with cosy comfort.
This latest venture marks Kayleigh’s third fitted wardrobe project with us, and each space we’ve worked on together has been as unique as it is stunning. Designed around her lifestyle and love for chic, feminine interiors, the results speak for themselves.
A Wardrobe That Works – and Wows
Our stunning Chateau fitted wardrobes with graceful curve feature doors are the centrepiece of Kayleigh’s new dressing room, their mirrored design bringing a light and airy luxurious feel to the space, while maximising on smart storage and functionality.
“I knew I wanted something really girly in here to match the rest of the room’s style, and I am so pleased with how they’ve turned out,” Kayleigh enthuses. “The doors give it such a luxurious feel and make the room feel so much brighter. It’s just the perfect space to get ready in now and I am over the moon!”
We also worked closely with Kayleigh on the wardrobe interiors to create a layout tailored to her daily routine and storage needs.
“For someone who mostly lives in leggings and jumpers, I knew I needed big drawers to fit these all in. We’ve accommodated everything I need, and it still looks so aesthetically pleasing,” she says.
The wardrobes include generous hanging space for all her outfits, along with spacious drawers to neatly store her collection of leggings, cosy jumpers, and everyday essentials, pull-out shoe storage for easy access and a streamlined, clutter-free finish, and overhead compartments for seasonal and occasional-use items. The entire layout was carefully considered to keep the space looking symmetrical and uncluttered, while offering the kind of storage Kayleigh uses day in, day out.
A Personalised Design Journey from Start to Finish
One of the highlights for Kayleigh was the hands-on design process. From the very beginning, she had a vision of something “really girly” that would flow with the rest of her softly styled home. During her home design visit, she loved exploring our wide range of colour and handle options, bringing samples into the room to see how they worked in the natural light and overall décor aesthetic.
“I really enjoyed playing around with the internal layout with the designer,” she said. “It was fun seeing how every element could be personalised – from the type of drawers I needed to keeping everything symmetrical and stylish. It was so much fun seeing the colour and handle options in the room and working with the designer to get every detail of the internal layout just right.
Three Rooms, Three Stunning Results
Having already designed and installed two bespoke fitted wardrobes in her home, Kayleigh knew she could count on us once again for expert design, quality craftsmanship, and a friendly, stress-free process.
Each project reflects her careful attention to detail and style. “My Fitted Bedroom has designed and installed 2 other wardrobes in our home over the years, and the quality each time has been incredible,” she shared.
